Last month Emily and I attended the launch party of Wish Magazine. Created by two lovely bloggers, Carrie of wishwishwish and Lucy of Shiny Thoughts, the 86 page magazine can be described as a children’s book for adults, featuring talented illustrators, photographers, writers and designers. Penhaligon’s is delighted to be sponsoring the first edition of the magazine.
The launch party was held in The Victoria in Mornington Crescent. Reminiscent of an old fashioned tea room, the venue was filled with beautiful bouquets of flowers and Penhaligon’s candles. Guests were treated to yummy culinary delights (the cheese stars were a particular favourite of mine) and bespoke Wish cocktails created exclusively by Hendricks.
Throughout the afternoon guests were able to knit their own bows and have their portraits drawn by illustrators. We also offered our fragrance profile service to help numerous guests find their favourite scent. Ellenisia and Gardenia seemed to be the most popular choices!
