This weekend I had a bit of a belated Spring clean, including dusting off my fragrance collection! So here is my hoard. Perhaps a second shelf is called for!
The pride of my collection is a vintage bottle of Coty’s Chypre (bottom right in top picture!) which I stumbled across in an antiques market in Oxford. I believe it dates back to the 30s, and though it has lost most of its head notes it still smells devine.
So, fellow fragance geeks, feel free to discuss my collection! Any favourites you can spot? How big is your collection?

Loving the Galliano, Etats, Anthology, Dior Hypnotic Poison, Hammam, Lolita and anything that comes sampled from Les Senteurs…. little phials of bliss.

I’m currently deciding whether to buy a full bottle of Jasmin et Cigarette, and seeing that it made your collection is recommending it to me further!
I would highly recommend it, if you are a jasmine fan! The ashtray element softens the jasmine somewhat, which I REALLY like. Overall, not as ‘dirty’ as you would think!

Indeed it is Miss Dior Extract…those sales guys at Roja Dove’s Haute Perfumery are TOO good! I adore L’Heure Bleue, definately in my Top Ten!
The two ELdO scents are Secretions Magnifique and Jasmin et Cigarette. The first makes me laugh…I love watching peoples’ reactions to it. But J&C I wear a lot, it’s the right mix of ashtray and floral for me! I always get a good reaction when I wear it!

I’ve actually got a sample of J&C coming my way if I remember correctly. And, coincidently, have a sample of SM too. I adore it so much. Will be buying a bottle of it when the money permits! Oh and I think I have a sample of Tom of Finland coming too… lost track now!

What are your two ELdO fragrances? My collection is 19 bottles strong in Dublin. 20-30 samples or so. And I have more at home which I’ve been missing!
